SPC Rhonda J. Roth-Cameron is a native of New Mexico and mother of two grown children. She joined the Army in 2006 at a late age, celebrating her 40th birthday on her first day of Basic training, thereby earning her the nickname of “Nanna”. Her first assignment was with the 55th Combat Camera unit out of Fort Meade, MD. Rhonda spent her time at 55th as a Combat photographer/videographer. Five months after coming to 55th, she deployed to Iraq where she was attached to several units as a combat photographer. She came to AFN Wiesbaden in July 2009 where she will add to her “Bag of Tricks” experience with Television and Radio. If you ask Rhonda, “Will you re-enlist?” She will smile and simply reply, “Tell me I can’t and watch me do it!”
